Your new role

As a speech pathologist/key worker (under supervision of a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist) you will be responsible for:

  • Providing assessments and therapy interventions to children (0-10 years) with development delays and challenges, funded through the NDIS
  • Liaising and collaborating with other allied health professionals within the team and within the community, to ensure the provision of the best possible service to our clients
  • Supporting, educating and networking families into relevant support services and organisations in the community
  • Assisting to run therapy groups and parenting information groups/training

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful with Merri you will go above and beyond to achieve great results for our clients, the organisation and yourself. We’re looking for individuals with:

  • Prior therapy experience as a Paediatric Speech Pathologist.
  • Working knowledge and experience within the Early Intervention sector (Children 0-10 years), the NDIS, and experience in providing family centred community based care to a diverse, multicultural population would be an advantage.
  • A proven track record in creating efficiency and meeting targets
  • Experience in a changing dynamic environment and ability to be flexible and adaptable in a time of change
