The Role:
This is a full time, permanent role based at Simpson Barracks, Yallambie.

In this role you will be undertaking daily grounds maintenance duties as prescribed by the Land Management Supervisor, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of the Land Management Activity Schedule service.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork in accordance with Quality Assurance, HSE and operational procedures.
• Operation of mowing equipment and tractors for the maintenance of the lawns and gardens.
• General gardening handwork as required including weeding, debris and rubbish clean-up, mulching, composting, lawn seeding, sowing and monitoring of growth.
• Propagation and planting of plant species.
• Regular cleaning of the vehicles, grounds equipment, machinery and tools.
• General labouring in the grounds on site.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Experience working within a similar commercial grounds maintenance role.
• Must have vehicle licence.
• Experience working within an environmental management system.
• Level 3 Agvet chemical users cert (essential)
• Level 1 chainsaw operation cert (essential)
• Front end loader ticket (preferred but not essential)
