Happycarers is seeking a mature support worker with experience, This is an immediate start position.

Applicant must be experienced with mature attitude. Successful applicant will be expected to have a good understanding of how to support an individual living with disability. Must be passionate about helping others to maintain their quality of life. You'll need to be compassionate, empathetic with strong listening and communication skills to be successful.

Qualifications & Experiences

• Certificate IV in Disability or Aged Care or Individual Support or relevant
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current national police check
• Driver’s license
• NDIS Orientation online training ( must be willing to obtain)

Key Responsibility & Duties for Disability Support Worker

• Accompanying client for medical appointments
• Transporting client to social outings and social engagements.
• Motivate and promotes client independence
• Assisting clients with food preparations.
• Assist the client with emotional, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs.
• Assisting client with domestic and personal care.
