We currently have a fantastic newly created opportunity for a highly experienced and dedicated IT Information Security Officer to join our growing IT team at IntoWork Australia.

About the Role

As the Information Security Officer you will play a vital role in the business, as you will design and enforce policies and procedures that protect the IntoWork Australia Group's computing infrastructure from all forms of security breaches. You will identify gaps in IT security and work with the IT team and Management to resolve them. It will be essential you keep up to date with developments in IT security standards & threats.

In the role you will also:

• Identify vulnerabilities across our end-points, systems, and networks.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to information security in alignment with ISO27001 and ASD's Essential Eight frameworks
• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to secure our computing network
• Monitor network usage to ensure compliance & preform penetration tests to find flaws.
• Document any security breaches & assess their damage & provide reporting as required
• Educate colleagues about security software and best practices for information security

About You

You are passionate about what you do and in educating others in best practice IT security. Your technical skills coupled with your strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to effectively engage your colleagues and imbed this information in the business. By ensuring you are always up to date with changes in the field you are confident you are delivering the best outcomes.

You will also bring:

• Degree in Computer Science or a technology-related field
• Professional information security certification
• Proven experience in an information security role
• Strong knowledge on various information security frameworks
• Excellent analytical & complex problem solving skills
• Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
• Values focused - demonstrate a positive, considerate & helpful attitude
