As a leader of the VIC Greater North regions operations team, the Regional Manager - Business Operations will be responsible for the effective management of all operational workflow and business activities for that region to achieve pre-site KPI’s from sales accept through to site start and will also monitor and report on overall customer service levels. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the key accountabilities of this role include:

  • Drive operational functionality by ensuring that business site start targets are met
  • Lead and motivate a team to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Coordinate cross functional leadership groups to meet business requirements and ensure successful outcomes at a regional level
  • Manage workflow activities and employee resources to optimise productivity within the Operations team
  • Review, develop and implement agreed Operational strategies and processes across the region to achieve company objectives
  • Improve productivity controls to de-risk the business and improve the quality of departmental output
  • Coordinate ongoing meetings with Sales and Building Departments to discuss operational matters which impact the region
  • Create and enable cohesion cross functionally to enable resolve to the benefit of the customer, employees and company
  • Identify and arrange training and development for employees within the region
  • Undertake recruitment and performance management activities


We are looking for someone who has:

  • Prior experience in a similar senior regional or general management role coupled with broad industry knowledge, relevant operational experience and an understanding of workflow processes and procedures
  • Proven ability in the development, delivery, and monitoring of key organisational strategies in line with organisational priorities
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to efficiently manage high level change
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and consultation skills, in addition to expertise in providing high level advice on a range of complex matters
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a strong leadership team
  • Ability to coordinate and implement business strategies and comprehend budgets and data
