About the role

As part of the small, supportive but experienced Governance Risk and Compliance team, the Risk Compliance and Quality Partner will implement, monitor and improve our governance risk and compliance systems and processes to support our service delivery stream to achieve consistent service delivery and comply with internal and external policy, standards, and practice.

Take on this the newly created Risk Compliance and Quality Partner position to work autonomously supporting our client facing business to build risk capability and maturity, identify and monitor risks to operations and respond to our regulatory compliance obligations across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the risk and compliance agenda for business and be at the forefront of establishing processes.
  • Respond to regulatory compliance obligations across the business including scheduled and ad-hoc reporting to regulators.
  • Collaborate on quality assurance initiatives.
  • Support internal governance risk compliance and assurance reporting requirements and provide insights into reports.
  • Challenge the way this function operates, have exposure to senior leadership and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in risk or Business is required and significant experience in a similar role in a health, mental health or social housing ‘for purpose’ environment is desirable.
  • Proven experience in health care, mental health, social housing or a similar environment with a strength in understanding compliance obligations within that sector
  • Experience administering and implementing and administering risk, compliance and governance systems/ solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience in internal audit, quality processes and accreditation processes.
  • Excellent time management and ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
