We are looking for a passionate and creative Barista/Café Assistant to join our Café at Chipmunks Playland & Café in South Morang, who will create an amazing customer experience by providing fast & friendly service. In addition to making coffee, the role will also be responsible for, managing the POS system and cash drawer, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Responsibilities and Duties

• A passion for all things coffee - including the ability to be creative with coffee art

• Make and pour drip brew, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other related products according to recipe and aesthetic guidelines.

• Familiarity with using different coffee machines and brewing techniques

• Deliver drinks in fewer than three minutes and identify drink upon delivery

• Operate all store equipment: bean grinder, espresso machine, and kitchen displays

• Greet and engage in conversation with each guest

• Optimise workflow efficiency by batching like drinks together and restocking workstations, food and merchandise

• Maintain cleanliness of barista area, guest area and counters

• Proven ability to provide clear instructions and demonstrate café experience

• Ability to multitask in a high energy environment

• Meticulously clean and organised

• Perform other duties assigned in Café area
