The Role

You were the kid who took “playing shop” far too seriously, a warehouse floor is your ‘happy place’, and you’re always seventeen steps in front of everyone else when it comes to managing your stock. Sound familiar? We’re looking for a brilliant, switched-on Supply Planning and Inventory manager and you might just be the ticket!

The role is accountable for all aspects of inventory management within the warehouse. The role plays a lead role in support of the Supply Chain strategy to deliver improvements along the entire supply chain from source to customer. This is a key leadership role within the Customer Fulfilment Centre.

Day to day responsibilities


  • Team Leadership - coach, lead and develop team members

Inbound/Supply Planning

  • Work with planning team to improve supplier inbound delivery compliance 
  • Consider and present options to improve inwards and receiving process flow 

Inventory Management

  • Work with Head of Supply Chain to develop Inventory Management Strategy 
  • Maintain slotting plans to ensure optimal pick productivity and minimise replenishment's per sku
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the Fulfilment Centre that contribute to improved quality, service and commercial outcomes
  • Oversee and maintain stocktake and cycle count process and report on stock accuracy

Supplier Issues & Customer Returns

  • Manage current returns process. Consider and present options to manage the returns process going forward

Who are you?

  • At least 5 years working in a similar inventory management role
  • Previous experience working closely with a Planning team
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative approach with knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Strong WMS knowledge (preferably but not essential HighJump)
  • Team leadership experience and the ability to mentor and inspire team members
