Abergeldie are recruiting the role of General Manager for Abergeldie Rehabilitation.
Abergeldie builds better communities through delivering quality infrastructure to our customers. Abergeldie Rehabilitation deliver networks investigation, design and construction solutions for utility and asset owners across the eastern states of Australia
Based in Melbourne, you will have an active role in leading the operational management and overall performance of the Abergeldie Rehabilitation business unit to be a network service provider of trust and confidence to our clients.
You will be responsible for
Leading and demonstrating the behaviours which support Abergeldie’s values and drive the desired culture within the Rehabilitation Team.

Providing visible leadership, direction and guidance to operational managers (VIC, NSW, QLD) and functional leads ensuring contract obligations are delivered to client requirements.

Maintaining oversight of operations, cost controls and performance across all project and service delivery activities including design, construction and management works and services.

Maintaining an effective program reporting structure to measure and communicate performance to the operational management team, the client and the Abergeldie Executive management.

Driving the continuous improvement in performance of the Rehabilitation team and continue to grow.

Proactively identify opportunities to improve and streamline systems and processes.

Ensuring the program activities are adequately resourced taking into consideration all variables including project complexity, client requirements and budget constraints.

Managing performance expectations and ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities, ensuring performance reviews are undertaken.

Maintaining adherence to established benchmarks of HSEQ, cost and program performance through effective management reviews.

Liaising with key client and employee representatives and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
