The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Sales and Customer Strategy team in our BlueScope Building Components Business as a National Segment Manager. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

In this exciting customer-facing opportunity, you will continue to nurture, grow and strengthen our relationships with key customers in the Hardware and Distribution segment. While developing sales strategies you will ensure profitable growth of revenue, margin and market share for our business now and for the future.

This opportunity includes a competitive remuneration package including a laptop, phone and tool of trade vehicle.

What will you do?

Based in either Lyndhurst VIC or Campbellfield VIC, covering all States, you will:

  • continue to strengthen partnerships with our existing customers and identify further service improvement and growth opportunities
  • develop account management strategies aligning to individual customer requirements and market conditions
  • identify business opportunities through understanding our customers’ products, and market trends
  • support the marketing of our customers’ products through in-store and digital customer experiences
  • work collaboratively with our internal customers to deliver exceptional service to our customers

More about you

Along with your ability to understand and uncover customer needs, transforming these into improved product and service offerings, you will bring:

  • account management experience within a business-to-business environment
  • exceptional relationship management and influencing capability
  • the ability to understand customer trends and continually create attractive product and service solutions
  • commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing and margin and its impact on profitability
