ABOUT THE ROLE:

BFT Managers and Trainers are the faces of our business. You are an integral part of each and everything we do and are critical to the growth of our member base.

This full-time role can be a full-time management position or, if you wish, we can divide your time between training and management. The role will consist of around 38 hours per week and you may be required to work weekends (mornings) and/or split shifts.

You will have a strong focus on member growth, experience, and retention by building and maintaining relationships with members and the local community. In turn, you will receive a competitive remuneration package, workplace flexibility and continuous personal and professional development to advance your career progression.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the studio and the long-term goals of growth and development. So on any given day you can be coaching a Trainer, getting to know a new member, or executing a grassroots local area marketing campaign with the full support of our sales and marketing team.

As Studio Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Marketing and recruiting new members through social media and lead generation;
  • Retaining existing members by making them feel welcome the moment they step into our studio, motivating, inspiring and guiding them through our 50-minute workouts;
  • Managing the studio team, staff rostering and creating an exciting and enjoyable team culture;
  • Creating social media content and being ‘the face’ of the studio;
  • General administrative tasks and general upkeep of the studio.

While you are performing the above, our BFT trainers will use their knowledge, skills and abilities to teach safe and effective exercise at all times. They will use their great personalities to make BFT the best training experience anywhere!

ABOUT YOU:

Do you have the following experience and qualities?

  • Sales/Business Development in membership acquisition and meeting monthly KPIs
  • Management experience
  • Previous experience in personal training, preferably group training
  • Cert 3 and 4 in Personal Training (undergraduate degree preferred)
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Proven success in building and sustaining a client base
  • Ability to build an awesome member community
  • Highly motivated, organised, punctual and have a passion to succeed
  • Have exceptional customer service and sales skills
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to step outside the bounds of the role
  • Passion for the health and fitness industry and want to change people’s lives
  • Creativity, drive and initiative
  • High level of integrity
  • Can-do attitude
