About the role


We are looking for an experienced Kindergarten teacher to join us in a room full of happy, endearing and inquisitive children. You will be supported by 1 experienced Assistant Educator and 1 Diploma Qualified. You will educate and nurture children each day whose ages range from 4-5 years in a high quality, well-funded programme. The environment offers great resources both indoor and outdoor.

You will have experience in developing programs which support and extend each child's ability and this will be evident in your practice and collaborative approach.

Your commitment and enthusiasm will be coupled with your ability to form and maintain positive relationships with children, their families and your colleagues.

The successful candidate must have;

  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS) as well as the VEYLDF and the EYLF.
  • ACECQA approved qualification to deliver a funded kindergarten program
  • VIT registration
  • Level two first aid
  • CPR training in Anaphylaxis and the administration of an Epipen
  • Asthma training
  • Working with Children's Check
  • BA in early childhood education


  • Ability to maintain written records relating to program goals and child development.
  • Ability to accept direction, provide feedback and work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of child development theories and an ability to demonstrate applicability within the program.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement innovative quality program plans relevant to the needs of children in the 4-5 year old age group.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement a collaborative, open and inclusive learning environment with children, families and stakeholders of the centre
