About the role:

We are currently seeking to recruit an entry level Storeperson based out of our Tullamarine Warehouse Depot, reporting into the Team Leader – Stores. The incumbent will have experience and will be further trained in all areas of Warehousing and Purchasing to assist the Zinfra business and move towards a Crew Leader position in the future.

Your responsibilities will include:

To ensure all “Materials and equipment” are prepared, coordinated and managed in accordance with Zinfra’ s policies, processes and provide support to Managers, Team Leaders, WRC and Project managers, in line with Zinfra guidelines and client requirements.

  • Ensure provision of all procurement activities- purchasing, matching and receiving
  • Undertake material management in SAP and use SAP to maintain and monitor all materials
  • Establish strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors to promote provision of quality customer service
  • Recording the movements and quantity of materials used by internal resources and/or contractors for job costing
  • Provide customer service satisfaction relating to material storage, picking, job lotting and provision of goods to customers. Ensure safe operation of mobile plant and equipment and comply with relevant Work Method Statements

About you:

In this role you will have the knowledge of appropriate manual handling techniques and of WHMS, SAP (preferred) with experience in a warehouse environment or similar(desirable).

You will hold a current forklift licence and a current Victorian drivers’ licence (Heavy Vehicle licence desirable not essential) with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite. You will be an Australian citizen or possess the correct working rights within Australia.

You have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills- demonstrated ability to communicate information at all levels of the organization.
