Paediatric Speech Pathologist (New Graduates welcome to apply) 

Full-Time position -  Flexibility plus

About A to Z Speech Pathology

A to Z Speech Pathology is an established, private speech therapy practice in the Craigieburn area. At A to Z Speech Pathology we assist children and young adults to reach their full potential in the areas of speech, language, literacy, fluency and play and social skills.

We recognise that every child is unique and aim to make interactions and therapy as fun as possible. We support families, schools, childcare centres and kindergartens to work with the challenges a child is presenting with. We provide expert knowledge and support to assist with all areas of communication and social development, including speech, language, literacy, fluency and play and social skills.

Position Details

We have a full-time position available and hours are negotiable. Evening and Weekend work available. The position involves working in the clinic, visiting homes, schools, kindergarten and childcare centres, along with the use of telehealth as appropriate.

Salary to be negotiated commensurate with experience (above award rates).

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Assessment and therapy provision for a range of clients (as above)
  • Collaboration with clients/ families to set achievable goals as part of an individualised therapy plan
  • Service delivery that utilises a family-friendly, evidence-based approach
  • Independent caseload management (dependent on experience)

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant Speech Pathology qualification
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Own transport and drivers licence
  • Member of Speech Pathology Australia

Experience:

  • Early Childhood Intervention (preferred).
  • 12 months experience preferred, however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
