Mortgage Domayne is a mortgage broking firm located in Craigieburn. We help people achieve their dreams with assisting them in gaining finance for their new homes, whether it be construction or established, for owner occupied or investment purposes. Due to unprecedented growth within our business and a recent expansion of our admin team we are looking for an Office Manager based in our Craigieburn Head Office.

 Job Description

The office manage has overall responsibility for the day to day running of the office. Provides guidance and direction to office staff ensuring they are adhering to the Mortgage Domayne process, industry standards, procedures and regulations.  Involvement in training and development of new staff including junior brokers in the team. An understanding of the end to end residential lending process is critical in order to provide on the job support to staff and to also conduct regular compliance audits to ensure standards are being met. Assist the department heads in all areas to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Job requirements

  • Efficient and professional management of all office based staff members
  • Efficient and professional management of the office premises 
  • Conducts regular meetings within the department 
  • Ensures that plans and actions are in place to meet departmental goals. Ensures that these are communicated, understood and met by all team members
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and carry out ideas to ensure continuous improvement within the department
  • Involved in hiring, training and development of new admin team members
  • Ensure that all team members clearly understand their job roles responsibilities and performance expectations. Give constructive feedback to team members to assist them in their overall job performance
  • Ensures all team members are trained on technical and service aspects of their position
  • Conduct regular compliance audits in line with MD standards

 Required Skills

  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Organising, planning and scheduling
  • Software – aggregator based software (such as Flex ) and Apply online
  • Technical knowledge of lender policies and procedures
  • Understanding of end to end residential lending process
  • Intermediate to Advanced level of computer skills
