The Role
Make a difference in our community!

As part of the Early Years team, this position will work directly with vulnerable culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) families and services in prioritised areas to address engagement barriers and support transition and ongoing participation in education.

The key deliverables for the role are:

  • Maximising attendance at kindergarten by CALD children.
  • Successful transition support for children due to start school in 2021 (including support with enrolment).
  • Increased kindergarten enrolments for three- and four-year-old CALD children in 2021 (including support with enrolment).
  • Increased engagement by vulnerable CALD families in other early childhood supports available in their local area

About you
Ideally, you will have qualifications in a relevant discipline, with proven skills and abilities in communicating and engaging with families and children, stakeholder relationships, highly effective interpersonal skills, the capacity to handle a busy workload, and the ability to work positively in a team environment.
